  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 eggs (separated)
  • cup whole milk
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 12 oz evaporated milk (1 can)
  • 1 ½ cup heavy cream (divided)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

How to Make It

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat yolks and sugar until pale. Mix in milk and flour alternately.

    Beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Fold into batter. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.

    Bake 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.

    Poke holes all over cake with a fork. Whisk together condensed milk, evaporated milk, and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Pour over cake slowly.

    Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
