  • ¾ lb ground pork
  • 2 cup napa cabbage (finely chopped and salted)
  • 30 gyoza wrappers
  • 2 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions (minced)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar and soy sauce (for dipping sauce)

How to Make It

    Salt cabbage and let sit 10 minutes, then squeeze out all water. Mix with pork, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions.

    Place 1 tsp filling in each wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold over, and pleat to seal.

    Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet. Arrange dumplings flat-side down.

    Cook until bottoms are golden, 2-3 minutes. Add 1/3 cup water and immediately cover.

    Steam 5-6 minutes until water evaporates and filling is cooked. Uncover to re-crisp briefly.
