Classic Beef Tacos
Weeknight tacos with perfectly seasoned ground beef, quick pickled onions, and all the fixings. Better than any fast food version, and ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp oregano
- 8 corn tortillas (warmed)
- ½ cup white onion (finely diced)
- ½ cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 2 limes (cut into wedges)
- 1 cup salsa
How to Make It

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.

Add diced onion and cook 3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and spices, cook 1 minute more. Add 1/4 cup water and simmer until absorbed. Season with salt.

Warm tortillas directly over a gas flame or in a dry skillet until slightly charred and pliable.

Serve beef in tortillas topped with raw onion, cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and salsa.
