- 2 lb chicken thighs (cut into chunks)
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 onion (diced)
- 4 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp ginger (grated)
- 1 ½ cup crushed tomatoes
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 cup basmati rice (cooked, for serving)
- 4 naan (for serving)
How to Make It

Marinate chicken in yogurt, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, salt, and chili powder for 1 hour.

Broil or grill chicken until charred and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

Melt butter in a large pot. Sauté onion until golden, 8 minutes. Add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute.

Add tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes. Blend until smooth.

Return sauce to pot. Add cream, sugar, and remaining garam masala. Simmer 5 minutes.
